Diploma Engineering

The Diploma in Engineering is a technical course below the Undergraduate rank which aims to provide students with some basic knowledge of Engineering, Scientific, Computing, Mathematical Techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the job field and ability to apply the basic problem solving techniques. Its duration is 3 years. Diploma in Engineering aims to provide students a basic development of Applied Science and Engineering and has content wise rich orientation for operative skill and applied learning. After B.Tech, Diploma Engineers will become the technocrats.

Candidates must have

A PASS AT CLASS X EXAMINATION FROM BOARDS OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, HARYANA OR EQUIVALENT EXAMINATION FROM A RECOGNIZED BOARD/UNIVERSITY (WITH SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS)

Eligibility Criteria

12th Science with Vocational/ technical Or Xth + (2 years ITI) with appropriate specialization.Students passing 12th Science with Vocational/ technical Or Xth + (2 years ITI) with appropriate specialization in that order shall be eligible for admission to second years Diploma courses of appropriate program, up to a maximum of 20% of
sanctioned intake, except Andaman, Nicobar, Lakhshadweep, Diu and Daman where it shall be 30% which will be the
supernumerary of the approved intake..
