M.Tech (2 Years)

Master of Technology degree is a postgraduate  programme engineering or technology field. This is generally a 2-year specialization programme in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field. Students typically enter in the M.Tech programs after completing a 4-year undergraduate programme in Engineering resulting in the award of a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree/M.SC or MCA Computer Science. The M.Tech programme are usually structured as an Engineering Research degree, in a particular specific field of Engineering. It was started with the aim of producing Research Engineers who can also get the position of “Technologist” in the Industries and Research Institutes.

The Candidate must have:

1. BE/B.TECH DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT IN THE RELEVANT FIELD/ M.SC (COMPUTER SCIENCE/IT/SOFTWARE)/MCA/M.SC. (ELECTRONICS/ PHYSICS WITH SPECIAL IN ELECTRONICS/MATHEMATICS/PHYSICS).

2. ATLEAST 50% MARKS IN AGGREGATE (45% IN CASE OF CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SC CATEGORY OF HARYANA ONLY)
